Fukusa gift cover. Silk, hand painted habutae, hand embroidered details, no tassles, rinzu silk  weave back with painted crest, front: excellent condition; back: some wear and discoloration due to age. Meiji/Taisho Era.
 
This would make a wonderful framed piece, the colors are quite vibrant with meticulous details in the painting and embroidery. Nice companion piece to Painted Fukusa Heian Garden 福砂-手描-4
