Komon nuka is a defatted form of rice bran. It's used in making rice-paste resist to help give body to the paste as well as to reduce stickiness.
Balancing your ratio of mochiko:nuka will help you to achieve the perfect paste for every project. For more information, see John's How To section, Japanese Rice-Paste Resist.
Two-pound bag. Keep refrigerated to avoid bugs.
