Ready for a whirl-wind tour of fanciful indigo? This twelve-session program covers every facet of traditional figurative dyeing with Japanese indigo along with innovative variations straight out of John’s brain – from direct painting to clamp resist, from katazome rice-paste resist to tsujigahana, from warp/weft painting to dyeing paper yarns for tapestry. You name it, I’ve got it!
The series is broken into four segments of three sessions each. Every session is presented as an intensive two-hour Zoom session with roughly half the time spent on understanding the process involved and half focusing on projects to bring the concept to life.
You may join ala carte or sign up for the entire series at a substantial discount. Each session is a Zoom recording of the actual class conducted, and is now available for you to download and keep for future reference.
Please visit each segment page for more detailed descriptions of each session.
