Shipping is calculated by computer and is not always accurate. When in doubt, feel free to email me a list of the items you would like to order, and I'll get back to you with an accurate amount. Another option is to place the items you'd like in your cart, take a picture of your screen with the order, and email it to me. If you use the web page shipping algorithm and are overcharged, I'll certainly notify you and refund the difference.

When in doubt, please contact me first.

Furoshiki are cloth wrappers used to wrap and carry items. They come in all sizes - from handkerchief-like diminuitive items to huge room size versions. The larger ones are quite useful as table cloths and bed covers, not to mention wall hangings. Most of them have enough yardage to fashion quite stylish garments.

My apologies - I hung this up side down when taking the photos. It should appear a bit like a horsehoe with the open end down. The characters are "cho" and "daikyouku".

Excellent condition, excellent quality. Medium weight 100% cotton, handwoven. 66" x 67". Made up of five panels. Roughly 90 years old.

Deep green background (indigo overdyed gardenia yellow) and very slight discoloration through aging. High quality tsutsugaki.
