Oh, dear! I've been barraged with questions over the telephone and through emails, and while I am more than happy to be able to help, and I enjoy speaking with each of you, I can't get my own work done. So I've come up with a plan – two methods of contracted help...
Phone Consultations–We may set up a time, through email, for your phone consultation appointment, at which time you will call back. You will be billed in ten minute increments, $20/increment. This comes out to a rate of $120/hour. The clock starts from the time I pick up the phone.
Zoom-based Consultations–We may set up a time, through email, for your Zoom-based consultation appointment. I will send you the Zoom login information ahead of the scheduled meeting. The clock starts from the agreed upon scheduled time, whether or not you have logged in yet. You will be billed in half-hour increments, $75/increment. This comes out to a rate of $150/hour. If you chose, the session will be recorded and you will be allowed to download and keep the recording.
Email-based Consultations–Send me a list of your questions and I will respond with a quote for the consultation fee. Your answers will be sent to you via email. I think and type quickly–the quote is based on how long it takes me to research and type up a response. The clearer–the more well thought out–your questions are, the less time it will take me to respond.
My rate is the same as a phone consultation, $120/hour, calculated at $20/ ten minute increments. If it takes me twenty minutes to answer, your fee will be $40.
Billing–Email me your best guess as to how much time you would like to initially commit to. This should be a realistic or maximum amount you are willing to commit to. If we can get through your questions in less time, then I will refund the unused portion, or roll it over to next time at your discretion. Sessions will end once the pre-paid budget has been used up.
In the case of email-based consultation, I will be sending you an invoice of my estimate so you won't have to guess at the amount.
