Lion and Peonies
I love the image of lions combined with peonies. In Asia, the lion is considered the king of the animal realm, and the peony queen of the plant domain.
This garment was entirely dyed with fresh-leaf indigo from my garden in Covelo, CA. I’ve done all the designing and sewing. Unlined, washable.
Rice-paste resist was passed through stencils I carved from hand-made mulberry paper. The silk is a sheer, ribbed organza with nice body.  It will waft gently as you move.
It simply rests on your shoulders and therefore has no size restrictions.

The garment is entirely blue - there is no green. The green that may appear in the shots below is simple the background showing through the sheer fabric.

$1400
plus CA sales tax and $32 domestic shipping.

There is no green in the actual garment. The colors are close to those above.
